We collect information that you provide directly to us, such as when you sign up for our mailing list in order to receive our newsletter and other information, or when you otherwise contact us. This information includes your email, date of birth, country of residence, and any other information you choose to share with us when you contact us. We also collect parental emails from children who indicate that they are under the age of 13 and who sign up for our mailing list, so that we can provide the required direct notice to parents (and obtain any necessary consents).

To protect your privacy, SuperAwesome has voluntarily undertaken this privacy initiative, and its services have been reviewed and certified by ESRB Privacy Certified to meet established online information collection, use and disclosure practices. As a licensee of this privacy program, SuperAwesome’s services are subject to frequent audits and other enforcement and accountability mechanisms administered independently by ESRB Privacy Certified.

What personal information do we collect from children?
The Site allows children to sign up for our mailing list in order to receive our newsletter and other information from CFTF, including educational content to foster their interest in space exploration and travel, information about CFTF and other space-related events and activities, and other information that we think may be of interest to them. Through our service provider, SuperAwesome, we collect email addresses from children who sign up for our mailing list and may also collect parental email from children, so that we may provide parents with required notices and obtain parental consent if required.
Does the Site enable children to make personal information publicly available?
The Site does not knowingly allow children or users to make any personal information publicly available.
How do we use personal information collected from children?
We may use personal information collected from children in order to fulfill their request to be added to our mailing list and send them our newsletter and other information (including educational content to foster their interest in space exploration and travel, information about CFTF and other space-related events and activities, and other information that we think may be of interest to them). We may also use personal information collected from them to provide notice to parents and to obtain parental consent as applicable.
Disclosure practices regarding personal information obtained from children
We may share personal information about children with service providers, such as SuperAwesome, who assist us in providing and maintaining the Site, including in providing any required notices to parents, obtaining parental consent (if required), and otherwise providing support for the internal operations of the Site. Such service providers are not authorized to use any personal information they receive from us for their own purposes (i.e. for purposes not related to providing and maintaining the Site on behalf of CFTF). In no event will these service providers or other third parties be authorized to use any personal information to advertise to children.
Other Important information
Parents have the right to review or have deleted any personal information collected from their child that is retained by CFTF or its service providers and to refuse to permit further collection or use of their child's personal information.
